"Following the death of my grandmother, I was at a loss for words. Anything I could think of saying to convey my feelings at the time had already been said by others. This melody kept playing in my head over and over and I truly felt it. I wasted no time in hitting the record button on it so I wouldn't forget it. I recorded an acoustic rythm for it and then layered the other tracks. I added piano to the middle eight for flavor.
The reason it's titled 'In Memory Of...' is because I want the song to be about someone the listendr knows not just someone I knew."
